The proposed modernization and addition to the Twin Arenas successfully connects the two buildings with a major public entry, provides sufficient exiting from the Athabasca Arena bleacher seating, replaces the existing Athabasca Arena change rooms and adds two new female change rooms. The modernization replaces existing washrooms, expands the Athabasca Arena upper bleacher concourse, and adds a multi-purpose room for team use. The second level lounge entrance has been enhanced and the area of glass between lounge and ice surfaces has been increased.
